monday morning feng shui: embrace the yin energy now!

this time of the year is more yin than yang, as we face longer nights and colder temperatures. i invite you to maximize this yin energy by slowing down, by becoming more inward, reflective and intuitive. just let it happen, try not to feel like you must be active to actually make things happen. the quiet time will bring you a great deal of information if you sit still long enough. maybe your time will tell you to clean out the basement (a great way to jump start spring cleaning), maybe it will bring you great insight to change careers, or maybe your time will tell you to take more time reading. this "down time" is equally as important as a more active (yang) time. and, why not do it now while the gentle earth is giving you the opening to do so?  happy monday and happy ch'i, dana
