the easiest peach topping for ice cream

this is a busy time for me; moving in, unpacking and the hoopla that goes along with a move to a new city.  my little (and big) kids still expect meals and tasty food despite the boxes lining the hallways, the painter in the laundry room and a cable guy running coaxial cable from one floor to the next!  get the picture...it is crazy busy here.  so, imagine the wide-eyes and smiles this very easy, quick dessert caused when i served it up over the weekend.

i sautéed two large, ripe peaches in butter and brown sugar.

then, i served it up warm over vanilla ice cream.

recipe

2 ripe peaches, peeled
1/4 cup brown sugar
2-3 tablespoons butter

peel and chop peaches into 1 inch cubes.
heat real butter in fry pan over med heat.
add peaches and sauté until soft.
add the brown sugar and sauté for 2 minutes.
scoop ice cream and spoon the warm peaches on top.
enjoy!

xoxo, dana
