Spring Makeup and the Perfect Nude Lipstick

On one of my previous posts about Spring cleansing on the inside, I discussed the yin and yang and feng shui of food.  This weekend was one spent working on my outer feng shui.  I went shopping to one of my favorite beauty stores, Ulta Beauty.  I am on a mission to get my outer feng shui balanced.  To do this, my search is for products that will balance my natural features with lighter makeup and softer, pale colors.

This is the nude lip color I am desperately searching for.  I found this exact shade at Ulta, but it was not as this photo shows.  The color was darker and may work on someone with a deeper complexion than mine.  So, my search is still on.  Anyone out there have a favorite, tried and true nude lipstick to recommend?  Please help me get my outer feng shui on!  Love and happy ch'i, Dana

  1. Hey Dana, my current favorite nudey lip coverings are Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle and Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Precious. I would consider both of these medium coverage, slightly sheer (I'm npot a fan of super opaque lipstick because I don't feel it looks very natural when it starts wearing away on the lips). I prefer the color of the Colorburst, it's a bit darker and more rosey than the Balm Stain. Good Luck! :)

  2. Oh, and sometimes I'll wear Precious with a bit of the Pink Truffle layered on top, this combination is the perfect match to my natural lip color and nicely evens everything out!

  3. Thank you Stacy! Those sound like some good leads and I love the name 'Pink Truffle'.
